  • Departures are frequent, with service advertised 24 hours a day.
  • The journey to Plaza Catalunya is around 25 minutes in normal traffic.
  • Central stops include Plaza Catalunya, Sepulveda-Urgell, Plaza Espanya, Gran Via-Urgell and Plaza Universitat.
  • Children under 4 travel free according to official Aerobus fare information. Check the official rates page before travelling because fares can change.

When Aerobus works well

  • You want a clear public transfer without metro changes inside the airport.
  • Your hotel is near Plaza Catalunya, Universitat, Plaza Espanya or an easy metro connection.
  • You are travelling with normal luggage and prefer a central stop.
  • You are travelling with family and want luggage space without station transfers.
  • You prefer a service that is easy to recognise outside the terminal.

When Aerobus may not be the easiest option

  • Your hotel is far from an Aerobus stop.
  • You arrive very tired with children or several suitcases.
  • You need door-to-door travel late at night.
  • Your final destination requires another long metro or taxi journey from the Aerobus stop.

Boarding at the airport

  1. After baggage claim, follow the airport signs for buses or Aerobus outside the terminal.
  2. Use A1 if you arrive at Terminal 1 and A2 if you arrive at Terminal 2.
  3. Have your ticket ready on your phone, or check the official Aerobus options before boarding.
  4. Keep luggage close while waiting, then place larger bags in the luggage area once you board.
  5. Before returning to the airport, check your airline terminal so you do not take the wrong line.
